Dr. Courtney Klawieter grew up in Rockford, Michigan. She attended Aquinas College where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating, Dr, Courtney continued with her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in February 2020.
From a young age, Dr. Courtney knew that she wanted to work in healthcare. At 11 years old she was diagnosed with a heart defect and underwent open heart surgery to correct the issue. From then on, she has had a passion for helping people stay happy and healthy, specifically young athletes and children. It was during her senior year track season at Aquinas that she began to experience leg pain and numbness during work outs. Following the advice of her athletic trainer she tried chiropractic. After her first adjustment, she had an INSTANT reduction in pain and was able to complete her senior year track season. She went on to become a three time All American athlete. During her time at Palmer, she was a member of the Women’s Rugby team, giving her the opportunity to play, coach, and provide chiropractic care to her injured teammates.
In her free time, Dr. Courtney enjoys spending time outside, fishing, hunting, and immersing herself in nature and conservation projects. She also enjoys adventuring with her German Shephard, Slunce.
